How we count the time

Each time adds up the trip from the ship to Roma San Pietro station and back (105 minutes each way, Mappu’s allowance), the walk from there to the first stop and back from the last, the walk itself at 4.5 km/h with its audio, and an hour to spare before all-aboard. Walking distances come from OpenStreetMap. Time inside the sights, queues and meals is extra, and your ship’s all-aboard time always comes first.

A shore excursion takes you further, with transport and a guide, and is planned around the ship’s timetable. Mappu does not run them: the partner below lists them, so you can compare and book.
